Maxie's Franks
1/2 onion, chopped (or 2 tbsps.)
2 tbsps. cooking oil 1 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 c. catsup 1 tsp. prepared mustard
3/4 c. water No 2 1/2 can sauerkraut
10 or 12 frankfurters or hot dogs
Sauté onion in oil until tender, then add catsup, water, sugar, mustard and bring to boil. Add drained sauerkraut to casserole dish, putting split franks on top. Pour on sauce and bake uncovered at 350° for 30 minutes.
